Easter Seals Official International Philanthropic Project of ESA

State Director for Easter Seals / International Philanthropic Project of ESA
As your Easter Seal Director for 2011-2012, I welcome you to participate and earn money for Easter Seals. We have many programs to select from and all your funds stay in Kansas.
One of those programs is Camp Hope which is the focus for this year. Camp Hope is a fundraising campaign designed to provide camping opportunities for children of military families. A specific way ESA can help is through the "Each One, Reach One" campaign where each chapter commits to sponsor at least one camper. This would require that the members of each chapter collectively contribute or raise $600 to provide a week at camp for a deserving camper.
A second program (new this year) is with Guideposts Magazine. When you subscribe or give a gift subscription, your $20 goes to Easter Seals. Hmmm... this might be a great Christmas idea for that person who is always so hard to buy for!
Last but certainly not least, remember that Kansas has an Easter Seals facility in Topeka: Capper Foundation. Check it out at www.capper.easterseals.com and you just might be able to see the preschoolers using some of the supplies ESA members brought to IC convention in Overland Park this past July. We will also be visiting Capper Foundation in January so make plans to come and see for yourself.
