Gamma Omicron was chartered in 1948 in Manhattan. There is one charter member still active, although in another chapter, Gennie Brown of Alpha Rho, Ellis.

Gamma Omicron members are very active at all levels of ESA and keep active in the community. In addition to the international and state organizations, they locally support Big Lakes Developmental Center, the Crisis Center, the Emergency Shelter, Stoneybrook, Flinthills Breadbasket, Second Helping and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Sixty years is just the beginning for the chapter, they plan to do much more in the next sixty years.
