Projects to Raise funds in 2010-2011
These are fund raising projects being held to support various activities of the Kansas State Council. Each activity has a contact provided in the event a person would like to take part in their fund raising activities. Chapters and/or Districts may feel free to place an ad here to promote their fund raising projects.

Me shipmates are Buccaneers; Becky Kelly, Lisa West,
and Sherry Marlow. This year’s theme be “Sharing the Treasures of life.”
We be forgin ahead this year: sellin Admiral Kim’s charms, raffle items at some of the State Council meetins, a treasure hunt, an auction Friday night at the State Convention and “Go for the Booty” 50/50 drawin.
Me hearty, the treasure hunt be taken place at the November meetin. During the afternoon break on Saturday we will hand out the sealed treasure sheet with instructions. The hunt starts as soon as you open your sealed envelope. How it will work: Sunday morning at 8:30 am you will return you’re completed treasure sheet and your $10 playing fee to the Ways and Means table. The first person to turn in a correctly answered treasure sheet with their fee will win 20% of the money raised plus a gift card. All other correct entries will go into a drawing for a gift card.
The “Go for the Booty” 50/50 drawing will begin at the January meeting plus we will have a table for raffle items. The “Go for the Booty” 50/50 is where 50% of all of the booty raised goes into the Kansas State Ways and Means account and the other 50% is split between three lucky lassies who will have their names drawn at State Convention. You do NOT need to be present to win the booty! The first ticket drawn wins 25% of the booty; the second ticket takes home 15%; and the third ticket wins 10%.
We be askin that each ESA Kansas member buy just one ticket, and sell just one ticket to a lassie or lad OUTSIDE of ESA. This will help publicize our organization as well as raise the booty to keep us going. Tickets are just $5.00 each. Packets of tickets will be distributed to each chapter in January. If you need more tickets contact Capt’n Melody or her Buccaneers Becky, Lisa or Sherry. No worries lassies we’ll make sure to have plenty on board. Hope ye be partaken in the adventures cause thar be tons of loot for the takin.
