DISTRICT E TRYS SOMETHING NEW THIS YEAR!

Laura WilliamsonDistrict E tried something new this year and held their planning meeting at Carolyn’s Essenhaus, in Arlington Kansas, July 15. Chairperson Laura Williamson presided with four chapters represented: Epsilon Pi, Alpha Iota, Gamma Beta, and Eta Theta. Laura announced her district officers as: Chair: Laura Williamson; Epsilon Pi, Pratt; Co Chair: Eleanor Anthony; Epsilon Pi, Pratt; Secretary: Karen Lowery; Eta Theta, Cheney; Treasurer: Sondra Freeman; Alpha Iota, Medicine Lodge; Auditor: Sharon Capansky; Alpha Iota, Medicine Lodge; Parlimentarian: Denise Masterson; Eta Theta, Cheney; Ways and Means: Susan Teske; Gamma Beta, Pratt.

The District is trying to plan a social with District F for the September meeting. It will be held in Dodge City. The meetings for 2011-2012 are as follows: September 10th, October 23rd, and March 25th. The District theme this year is “Golden Waves of ESA” with wheat stalks as Laura's logo. Chapter presidents for the coming year are: Alpha Iota, Medicine Lodge, Sharon Capansky; Epsilon Pi, Pratt, Verneene Forssberg; Eta Theta, Cheney, Debi Jones and Gamma Beta, Pratt, Linda Broce. Breakfast was enjoyed as the members visited about chapter happenings.

DISTRICT G MEETING MEETS TO PLAN THEIR YEAR!

Under the leadership of Mary Ann Johnson District G met in August for the planning meeting. The theme for the year is "To Everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven” Officers for this year are: Mary Ann Johnson, Chairman; Pam McElvain, Co-chairman; Janene Radke, Secretary; Rachel Livermore, Treasurer; Tammi Mitchell, Chaplain; Ann Lamon, Parlimentarian; Karen Stinson, Philanthropic.

district mapKansas is divided into 10 Districts that meet 3-4 times during the year. Their function is mainly social as well as to serve as an effective communication arm of the Kansas State Council. District meetings are filled with fun and friendship. The First Vice President of the Kansas State Council guides the direction of the 10 District Chairman.
