 DISTRICT NEWS

Kansas is divided into 10 Districts that meet 3-4 times during the year. Their function is mainly social as well as to serve as an effective communication arm of the Kansas State Council. Districts meetings are filled with fun and friendship. The First Vice President of the Kansas State Councils guides the direction of the 10 District Chairman.

DISTRICT D MEETING SHARES FUN, FELLOWSHIP AND GREAT FOOD!
The District D Fashion show is held each year prior to the Day of Love at Heartspring so that many of the state officers can attend. This year it was held on February 13th at the Goodwill facility on North Oliver in Wichita. Representatives from each chapter model outfits they have put together from the various Goodwill stores in the area. We had a bonus this year with some girls also modeling "What not to wear" to various events. They were hilarious! Along with the Fashion Show, a Soup and Salad luncheon was enjoyed. It is a fun time for members and guests to get together for some socializing. This is the main Ways & means project for the District.
DISTRICT D HAS THEIR ANNUAL GOODWILL FASHION SHOW
Once each year District D sisters meet for their annual Goodwill fashion show. High priced models take their pick from the fashions found at the Goodwill stores to model. There is something for everyone, including all ages and sizes.

A good meal, beautiful models, and great fellowship top the evening!
