BUILDING ABILITIES AND EMPOWERING PEOPLE OF ALL AGES LIVING WITH DISABILITIES

Capper Foundation Website
The folks at Capper Foundation do amazing things!  As our state council's newest philanthropic project we get to help them with their mission which is "to build abilities and empower people of  all ages living with disabilities."   Capper Foundation really isn't new; they have been around for 100 years.  Visit their website and watch a short video and then scroll down to the stories of hope section.  You will see why they are extremely proud and deserving of their 4 star charity rating.

As you are scrolling through the Capper Foundation website you probably noticed a section titled "Get Involved".  This  is a great place for your chapter to start supporting this amazing organization.   Click on the donation part (with the red heart) and you will see some smaller, yet still significant ways to help out.  Money is always needed and very much appreciated.  There is a wish list with items you can purchase for clients of all ages and the Capper Cupboard that provides food, hygiene, and baby items for families.

IF YOU DONATE THIS WAY PLEASE LET THE CURRENT CHAIR PERSON KNOW THIS SO YOUR CHAPTER GETS CREDIT.  YOU MAY USE THE GIFT IN KIND FORM.

ALL MONEY DONATED NEEDS TO GO THROUGH THE KANSAS STATE COUNCIL FUNDS.   SEND TO THE CAPPER FOUNDATION CHAIRMAN AND TO THE KANSAS STATE COUNCIL THIRD PHILANTHROPIC PROJECT.

This year we have been asked to focus on the Pediatric Therapy department.  Please see the link for the list of requested items.  As previously stated, money can always be given and applied where needed.  Please consider making a donation to Capper Foundation this year to help them with their mission ..
."to build abilities and empower people of all ages living with disabilities."
