HEARTSPRING - KANSAS STATE COUNCIL PHILANTHROPIC PROJECT

HEARTSPRING

Supported by the Kansas State Council since 1949

Picture
Heartspring's mission in partnership with parents professionals and the community, is to help children with special needs grow and learn on a path to a more independent life. ESA helps to promote the programs and mission of Heartspring by donating their dollars, gifts-in-kind and personal time. In addition our organization holds the "Day of Love" and Prom, which entertain and gives the children attending Heartspring opportunities and experiences they might not otherwise have. Heartspring’s belief is that all children can learn, adapt and succeed with appropriate levels of support in a happy, safe and nurturing environment. Heartspring pursues this mission through the Heartspring School, Heartspring Pediatric Services, Heartspring World Reach and Heartspring CARE (Community of Autism Resources and Education). Heartspring School serves students ages 5-21 with multiple disabilities including autism, mental retardation, Down syndrome, visual/hearing impairments and behavior disorders. Both residential and day school services are available. Heartspring Pediatric Services offers outpatient physical, occupational, speech-language therapies, hearing services, behavior intervention, educational testing for children, and free developmental screenings.

THE TIME TO ADOPT-A-HOME / CLASSROOM IS NOW!
Thank you for previously supporting the Adopt-a-Student Giving Program at Heartspring. Many of our students live away from home, and receiving gifts from organizations like yours is a way to brighten their day. We want to thank you for all the smiles you put on our student’s faces. Sadly some students were left un-adopted so we decided to change the program to Adopt-A-Home/Classroom!

  • To sign up for the Adopt-A-Home/Classroom Giving program for the new school year, please complete the registration form below, as soon as possible. Please send notification if you will not be able to continue participation for the coming year.
  • Your chapter contact will receive a Home/Classroom profile to provide you with the needs of that home or classroom.
  • You may send fun gifts such as craft kits, greeting/gift cards, snack items on special occasions or anytime you wish! Please do not send cash or checks.
*REMINDER:  Heartspring is a PEANUT FREE campus.  Please do not send any products containing peanuts or peanut related products.
  • ***When sending a gift, please complete the Gift-in-Kind form below and mail with the package. Please make this form easily accessible by placing it outside any wrapped gifts.
  • Acknowledgements will be sent as soon as possible after the gift is delivered to your Home/Classroom.

DON’T THROW THOSE LABELS IN THE TRASH!
The “Labels for Cash” program continues to expand each year. And putting those labels in the trash is like throwing away CASH that could go to Heartspring. They only accept General Mills Box Tops!
