KANSAS ESA - MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS!
Epsilon Sigma Alpha, International offers many opportunities to experience Good Friends - Good Works - Good Times. We encourage everyone to explore our website and contact a chapter in your area, or our State Membership Director, for more information about becoming part of the most dynamic volunteer and leadership organization today.
Epsilon Sigma Alpha is an organization dedicated to leadership and philanthropic endeavors. Founded in 1929 in Texas, ESA currently has chapters in most US states and Australia with our International Headquarters located in Fort Collins, CO. Although ESA is a Greek Letter organization, we are not affiliated with College or University sororities or fraternities. However, we do have ESA collegiate chapters across the country. ESA Leadership training is available in the local chapters and additional opportunities abound at State, Regional and International meetings. Since 1929, ESA members have used their network of more than 1,000 chapters to excel in community education, service and philanthropy. Their "hands-on" endeavors provide more than 650,000 direct service hours and more than $13 million for charitable causes each year.
ESA's unique program provides members with training, education and support they need to promote successful public service projects, while developing personal and professional skills in management, public relations and leadership. Always ahead of its time, it has blazed new trails in volunteerism and has become a premier leadership organization.
The Kansas State Council (KSC) Board of Directors meets four times a year to promote its programs and conduct the business of ESA. The ESA members in Kansas are proud of their history of accomplishments and will continue to carry the ESA torch into the future. State Board meetings are open to all Kansas ESA members.
The KSC of ESA helps many agencies across the state and we also support our national philanthropic, St. Jude. Our state projects are Heartspring and Goodwill, though we support many other organizations throughout each year as well. If good friends, good works and good times sounds like it is for you, come check out ESA!

Beth Pompa
|
From our 2022-2023 Kansas State Council President:
I am Beth Pompa, a 20-year member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. I joined ESA for the fellowship and friendship have gotten so much more from it.
The organization is about “Education”, “Service” and “Achievement”. I have learned so much from the workshops that are held at our Chapter, District and State meetings. I have served my community as a former EMT, Firefighter, served as Council member and Mayor of Rose Hill KS. I continue to serve our local food bank and community assistance programs and am on the Fall Festival Committee. I could not have imagined myself moving up the board and serving as the Kansas State Council President when I joined so many years ago. I have gained the confidence and support from fellow members to achieve this goal.
I was born and raised in Indiana where I met and married my husband of 40+ years, Joe. We have raised two sons, Adam (Kelsey) & Andrew, have lived in Louisiana, Texas and of course Kansas. We have one grandson who according to every grandparent out there “is the best thing in the world.”
My theme is “Be the Change you Wish to See in the World” and my President’s Challenge is Homeless Vets.

Beth's local chapter stays very active at the State and District levels with many of the members serving in positions at both levels. They work concert events both at the Kansas Star Casino and Andover Capital Federal Amphitheater to earn monies to donate. They have many local and community projects that are near and dear to each of the members of Beta Beta, Andover that are also supported.
